About Fiqh

Fiqh covers acts of worship such as prayer, fasting and zakat, and also dealings between people such as trade, marriage and inheritance. It rests mainly on the Quran, the sunnah, consensus and analogy, studied through the field of usul al-fiqh. The schools of fiqh developed from the work of early scholars and remain a living tradition.
