About Madhhab

The four main Sunni schools are the Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi'i and Hanbali, and they agree on most matters of belief and worship. Their differences are mostly in secondary details and are seen by scholars as a legitimate range of opinion. Many Muslims follow the school common in their region, and the schools respect each other.
