Quran Hifz Tracker

Record what you have memorised and revise it on a spaced schedule, so it stays with you.

How to use it

  1. Add a passage you have memorised: choose the surah and the first and last verse.
  2. Come back each day. Passages that are due appear under “Revise today”.
  3. Revise by reciting from memory (open the Read Quran page to check), then mark how it went.
  4. Press “Test yourself” on any passage to hide some of its words, recite from memory, and tap a blank to check a word. Then mark whether you knew it, needed help or forgot, and the tracker brings weak passages back sooner.

Frequently asked questions

How does the revision schedule work?

After you add a passage it comes back for revision after 1, 3, 7, 14, 30, 60 and then 120 days. Each time you revise it well it moves to the next step; if you needed help it starts again from the first step.

Is my progress saved if I close the page?

Yes, on the same browser and device. It is stored in your browser, never sent to QuranCentral. Use the backup box to move it to another device.

Can this replace a teacher?

No. It is a helper for keeping track of revision. Learning to recite correctly, with tajweed, is best done with a qualified teacher.

How do I practise a passage?

Open it in the Read Quran page, choose Reading & audio options, and set the verse range to repeat (for example 5 times) at a slower speed.
