About Tilawah

The Quran asks believers to recite it in a measured way, which is called tarteel. Tilawah is rewarded as an act of worship in itself, and many Muslims keep a regular daily portion. Listening to skilled reciters is also a way to learn the melody and the rules of pronunciation.
