About Umrah
Umrah consists of entering ihram, performing tawaf around the Kaaba, sa'i between Safa and Marwa, and then shaving or trimming the hair. It is shorter than hajj and has no standing at Arafah. Scholars differ on whether it is obligatory once in a lifetime or strongly recommended.
