About Sahabi
The companions, called sahaba, transmitted the Quran and the sunnah to later generations. Muslims honour them and use the phrase radi Allahu anhu, meaning may God be pleased with him, after their names. Well-known companions include Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Ali and Aisha.
