About Sadaqah

Unlike zakat, sadaqah has no fixed amount or time and can be given at any moment. Scholars also describe good deeds such as helping a neighbour or removing harm from the road as forms of sadaqah. A sadaqah jariyah is a charity whose benefit continues, such as a well or a school.
