About Mubah

Most ordinary matters of daily life fall into this category, such as choosing a particular type of permitted food or clothing. A mubah act can still earn reward when it is done with a good intention, for example eating to gain strength for worship. The jurists list the five rulings as fard, mustahabb, mubah, makruh and haram.
