About Tarawih
Tarawih is a confirmed sunnah, and in many mosques the imam recites a portion of the Quran each night so that the whole book is completed in the month. The number of rak'ahs varies in practice, with eight and twenty both widely followed, and scholars differ on this. Some people pray the same night worship at home.
