About Dua
Dua is called the essence of worship in a well-known saying of the Prophet. It can be made in the words of the Quran and sunnah or in one's own words, and times such as the last part of the night and between the adhan and iqamah are widely regarded as especially hopeful. Raising the hands, praising God first and sending blessings on the Prophet are customary manners.
