Kids Quran Memory Games
Play with the short surahs. Pick a game, collect stars, and enjoy learning the verses at your own pace.
How to play
- Choose a level, then choose a game.
- You can tap or click everything. In “Order the words” you can also drag the words, or use the Tab and Enter keys.
- There is no timer and nobody loses. A mistake only means one star less for that question, so try again!
A note for parents and teachers
These games help children get used to the look, the words and the order of the short surahs, in a relaxed way. They are a helper, not a replacement for learning to recite with a qualified teacher. Sit with younger children, and let them listen to the surah first on the Listen to Quran page. Stars are only a little encouragement, so please celebrate effort more than scores.
Frequently asked questions
Which surahs are in the games?
Easy uses Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq and An-Nas. Medium adds Al-Kawthar, Al-Asr, An-Nasr, Quraysh and Al-Masad. Hard uses Al-Fatihah, Al-Fil, Al-Ma'un and Al-Humazah. The verses are the real Quran text, loaded from the same source as the Read Quran page.
Are the stars and best scores saved?
Yes, in your browser on this device only. There is no account and nothing is sent to QuranCentral. If you clear your browser data, the stars start again from zero.
Do the games need the internet?
The first time you play a level, the verses are loaded from the internet. They are then kept in your browser, so the same level can be played again even without a connection.
Your stars stay in your browser on this device.
