How to Reach the QuranCentral Team
Every message sent to info@qurancentral.net lands in a shared inbox that the small team behind
QuranCentral reviews together. We are a volunteer project, so we cannot promise instant responses — but we read every
single message, and we try to reply within two to three business days. During Ramadan and the two Eids,
response times can stretch slightly longer; thank you in advance for your patience.
Email is the most reliable way to reach us. We deliberately avoid direct messaging on social networks because important
bug reports and translation corrections need to be tracked, prioritised and triaged by more than one person. A short
email with a clear subject line gets the fastest answer.
What We Can Help With
Bug reports
If a feature is broken — audio that won't play, a calculator that won't compute, a prayer time that looks wrong — send
us a screenshot, the page URL, your browser and device, and a short description of what you expected. Detailed reports
are gold; they let us reproduce and fix issues in hours rather than weeks.
Translation and tafseer corrections
Our English and Arabic content draws from open scholarly sources, but typos slip through. If you spot one, please send
the verse reference (e.g. Surah Al-Baqarah 2:255), the affected page (Read Quran, Tafseer, etc.), and the suggested
correction. We will compare against the underlying source and either push a fix to our site or pass it upstream to
AlQuran.cloud when the correction belongs there.
Feature requests
Many of QuranCentral's best features started life as a one-line email from a visitor — the inheritance calculator,
the Mosques Near Me page, the Hijri converter. If you have an idea that would help Muslims with their daily worship,
please share it. We cannot promise to build everything, but every suggestion is read and considered seriously.
Partnerships and integrations
We collaborate with imams, masjid administrators, and other Muslim software projects who want to embed our prayer
times, the karaoke verse player, or our zakat calculator on their own websites.
If you maintain an Islamic platform and want to integrate our tools, get in touch and we will share embed snippets
and integration notes.
Press and media
Journalists covering technology and the Muslim world are welcome to email us with interview requests, fact-checks, or
background questions. We answer in writing in English or Arabic.
What We Cannot Help With
Out of respect for your trust and the limits of our knowledge, please note a few areas we politely decline:
- Personal fatwa requests. We are not muftis. For binding rulings on specific situations — divorce, inheritance disputes, business contracts — please consult a qualified scholar or your local Islamic council. Our pages explain mainstream positions for educational purposes, not legal advice.
- Financial donations. QuranCentral does not solicit or accept donations. If you wish to give, support the open data projects we credit (AlQuran.cloud, AlAdhan, MP3Quran.net) or your local masjid directly.
- Marketing pitches. We do not run ads or sponsored content on Quranic material. Please do not pitch SEO services, link insertions, or paid placements.
Privacy When You Email Us
Your email and the contents of your message are stored only in our inbox and used only to reply to you. We do not add
you to a mailing list, share your email with third parties, or use your message for advertising. If you would like us
to delete your correspondence after we have replied, just say so in your message and we will remove it.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long until I get a reply?
Usually two to three business days. During Ramadan, Hajj season, and the two Eids it may take a little longer because the team itself is observing — but every email is read.
Can I propose a new translation or tafseer to add?
Yes. We are particularly interested in translations into languages we do not yet support, and in tafseer works that exist as open community-maintained data. Email us the source and licence details and we will evaluate adding it to the Read Quran module.
I represent a masjid — can you list us?
Our Mosques Near Me page draws live data from OpenStreetMap. The fastest way to be listed is to ensure your masjid is correctly entered there. If you need help editing OSM, email us and we can guide you through the process.
Will you build a custom feature for my organisation?
Possibly. We do small amounts of pro-bono custom work for non-profit Islamic organisations when it aligns with our mission. Email us with the brief and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.
Do you offer phone or video support?
No. We are a small volunteer team and cannot offer live support, but email replies are detailed and we are happy to exchange several messages on a single issue until it is resolved.
